Understanding Synchronicity's Movement In Life

Have you ever found yourself wondering when something happens in your life," Wow, what are the odds of that happening?" Have you ever had an experience in life when you found yourself looking back at events that brought that experience to you, connecting the dots to bring you to that moment? Have you ever had times in your life where you were able to see things happening in the world around you again and again, leading you in a certain direction or affirming you in the direction that you are going? If you have had similar experiences than you have experienced the work of synchronicity. Synchronicities are defined as meaningful Coincidences. I don't really like this definition because they aren't coincidental at all. If I were to define them I would say that synchronicity is our awakening to the connectedness that exists between our outer physical world and our inner spiritual nature. In other words, the moving of the Universe to guide and affirm us on our journey here, God's hand moving and guiding the symphony that is our lives. I believe that there is no randomness for us at all, nothing happens by accident. It is all on purpose, for a purpose, and for our purpose in life. We are connected to All and All is connected to us. It is just that we so often live asleep to this connection, unaware of the powerful workings of the Universe on our behalf. They happen everyday, sometimes little things, sometimes bigger things but we are so prone to shrugging them off as accidental or merely coincidence. But we can learn to see more of them in our lives. We can learn to tap into these workings and allow them to guide us more fully. We can bring our awareness to a place where we begin to see more and more of the connections and how things work together. We can learn to observe synchronicity and call upon it to affirm when our souls need it and direct us when we need the clarity. So how can we awaken to synchronicity and bring more of it to our lives? How can we more consciously use it in our everyday living for guidance and direction? Let's take a look.

Pay Attention. Begin by noticing what you notice. We so often go through our lives yet pay so little attention to the world around us. There are so many things that we don't notice in the very way that we go to work each day or in the people we meet each day. We can't notice the signs and messages of the world around us if we don't even notice what is around us. Our perception of life is so limited compared to what is truly there so we need to do some expanding. See more, feel more of life.

Ask For The Message. We have not because we ask not. When we ask, there is never a time when our request is not met with a response. Throw your question out there to the world and let it respond to you. It will do so in wondrous ways. It will use what you notice and what you notice will speak to you but you have to be willing to ask, and not fearful of knowing. You may suddenly feel a light cooling breeze hit your face. You may notice a title of a book that is on the shelf that so answers your question. One of your friend may say something, that makes you think wow, that is so right. I see it all so clearly now. A song may play on the radio that just confirms you in the exact way you needed confirming. Any of these things and more are at our disposal if we just ask.

Trust What Comes Your Way. This is a hard one for us. Our minds so love to take what we get and reason it away so learn to trust and honor what you get above reason. We may not always know right away, the outcome of what we believe the Universe is telling us to do but we can always trust that it is for our good so just the path that is being laid before you with the highest and best intention for your life that you can have. Be bold enough to trust in "the road less traveled" You were not meant for the crowd. You are meant for extraordinary things and life wants to work in extraordinary ways to bring it about for you. So be open. Our narrow thinking limits our knowing of the possibilities that are brought our way.

Living this way gives so much insight into life. Living this way is never boring because you can only be bored when you are asleep to the world around you. When you engage it, when you see the newness it is never going to disappoint you. You will find that all things are new every day. What you were yesterday you are not today. You will be living in wholeness and awareness and able to beautifully participate in it all.
